On Cameroon Biya Threatens To Kill More Civilians As UN Guterres Lies and Bans Press

By Matthew Russell Lee, CJR PFT NYP

UN GATE, Jan 24 – Cameroon's 38 year ruler Paul Biya, propped up by France and now for three years by corrupt UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres who cut a deal with Biya for his support as chair of the UN Budget Committee, on New Years Eve made threats to kill more people.

And from Guterres, who had been missing from New York for three weeks, similar to Biya's long convalescences in Geneva? Nothing. Absolute silent. And no answers by his spokespeople Stephane Dujarric and Melissa Fleming, who continue Guterres' ghoulish ban on Inner City Press even entering the UN to ask questions.  They have refused Inner City Press' daily written questions on Cameroon - and then on January 24 read out, in a briefing Inner City Press was banned from, these lies: ""François Louncény Fall, the Head of the UN Regional Office for Central Africa (UNOCA), and Ahmad Allam-Mi, the Secretary-General of the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS), have just concluded a 5-day visit to Cameroon, ahead of the legislative and municipal elections, scheduled to take place on 9 February.  They urged all actors involved in the electoral process to foster peaceful conditions and continue working towards the well-being of Cameroonians, adding that it will be a decisive step towards strengthening the country’s stability and democratic gains.  They stressed the need for full respect of civil and political rights, including the right to vote, freedom of expression, peaceful assembly and movement during this crucial period. "

Francois Fall called separatists extremists, thereby encouraging Biya's killing of them. Guterres is disgusting and a censor. We'll have more on this.

This was from Biya's speech, robo tweeted out by others just like Guterres' saccarine feed, on Biya's Twitter account from which Biya's like any dictator bans Inner City Press and others. Guterres' spokesman Stephane Dujarric also blocks Inner City Press, despite having promised on camera to answer its questions. Both will fall in 2020. But for the UN to be run by a corrupt censor? This is a new low. It is UNacceptable.

Also still no answer or path to re-entry from from Melissa Fleming as she entered a decadent Wall Street event while the UN cut rations to refugees in Libya, on which she bans the Press that asks. Wall Street video here (Fleming halfway through), and separately Dujarric here. UNacceptable.

Five days later, nothing at all. Nor on Cameroon peacekeepers' sexual abuse. Guterres and the other three are entirely corrupt. And see their partners in censorship, for example here.

Inner City Press live tweeted the shameful May UNSC session and uploaded Guterres' envoy Francois Fall's failing statement here.
