UN GATE, March 16 -- Stephane Dujarric, the lead spokesman of UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, and now Guterres' Global Communicator Melissa Fleming have joined their boss in personally covering up child rapes and sexual abuse by UN personnel, including recently a child rape by a UN "peacekeeper" from Paul Biya's Cameroon in DR Congo. But most of the UN rapes they cover up are in CAR.

 Now on March 16, as Guterres also covers up on Coronavirus COVID-19, refusing questions on if he's been tested and why the UN Delegates Dining Room workers were laid off without mitigation, this: "The Secretary-General strongly condemns the attack perpetrated by anti-Balaka elements against local officials on 15 March in Grimari, Ouaka Prefecture. United Nations peacekeepers confronted the attackers and one Burundian peacekeeper was killed. The Secretary-General expresses his deepest condolences to the family of the deceased peacekeeper, as well to the Government and people of Burundi.     The Secretary-General also strongly condemns a separate attack by suspected elements of the Rassemblement patriotique pour le renouveau de la Centrafrique (RPRC) and Parti du Rassemblement de la Nation Centrafricaine (PRNC) against a MINUSCA patrol on the same day on the Ndélé -Birao axis, in the prefecture of Bamingui-Bangoran, in which one peacekeeper from Pakistan was injured."

  But this is the same day Dujarric and Melissa Fleming refused to answer this, on lack of confidence in the UN: "March 16-3: On the DRC and total lack of trust in the UN, what are the comment and actions of SG Guterres on reports that "civilians in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) are resisting the deployment of United Nations peacekeepers despite imminent attacks by rebel groups in the region.  The resistance is the aftermath of a fallout between residents in the town of Beni and the UN Mission for Stabilisation in the Congo (MONUSCO).  This after residents accused the peacekeepers of failure to protect them from repeated attacks." No answer at all.

It is Guterres putting "his" peackeepers at risk.

  Even while they and OIOS Ben Swanson purport to care - and even answer questions - on the UN's cover up for Burundian and Gabon rapes in CAR in 2017, they have adopted corrupt Guterres' solution going forward: cover up the cases in advance. Rough up and ban the Press which asks, leave inside only insiders who ask why they can't use the UN escalator instead of walking one or two flights of stairs, and refuse to answer written questions. Their UN is dying - and taking young victims with it.

 At 11 am on March 9, the UN data dumped more UN sexual abuse charges. Inner City Press put in this question to Dujarric and Melissa Fleming and Guterres and others. No answers, publishing the question for now: "On UN sexual exploitation and abuse - alleged - this is a request that you immediately provide the "if asked" information about the new sex abuse cases data dumped at 11 am on March 9, involving sexual abuse by peacekeeper from Cameroon in CAR, Pakistan in Darfur, Tanzania in DRC, and still UN rape in DRC by Guatemala "peacekeeper," and abuse by Senegal in Haiti, and Gabon and Mauritania in CAR, and still no answer those data dumped on Feb 4, UN rape in Darfur and CAR, sex abuse by Uganda "peacekeeper" in South Sudan and from "the Congo" and Benin in CAR, etc- and two new cases of sexual exploitation in CAR by Cameroonian UN "Police" that were put online after 5 pm on December 30 (a day when you refused to answer 7 questions including on previous UN rapes), and the (Dec 19) rape case by a UN Volunteer in DRC in June 2019 - what nationality? What's been done for the victim(s)? and the Dec 9 sex abuse cases in CAR by Gabon, DRC and Morocco UN "peacekeepers, and the Dec g  about the Office of the Special Envoy for the Sahel, and the two more November 26, 3 pm cases of sexual exploitation in CAR by Cameroon troops in September 2019 (!) and 2018, and those of November 21 from 2017 and 2016, released an hour before UNSG Guterres met Cameroon FM, without readout or access or even response to request for access, on top of the November 11 case of rape in Liberia, and by a Cameroon "military observer" in Mali, UNanswered with Inner City Press blocked from noon briefing and only 2 questions inside, the cases of sexual exploitation and rape cursorily data dumped on November 11 at 10:30 am including rapes in Liberia, sexual exploitation in Sept 2019 in CAR (all nationalities undisclosed - why?), by Cameroon in Mali and those on November 4 and on October 31 at 1:30 pm as well as previously requested without response about the child rape and sexual exploitation by UN "peacekeepers" from Cameroon and South Africa the UN cursorily disclosed on the afternoon of October 28 - about which Inner City Press did not this time immediately ask, given that each of you have refused for one week and counting to answer in any way with if-asked information about the child rape and sexual exploitation cases involving Indonesia, Mauritania and again Cameroon, in DRC and Central African Republic cursorily data dumped onto the UN website after 3 pm on October 21. Requesting again that you immediately provide the "granular" information that was promised at the noon briefing to correspondents who barely ask or publish about this topic. What is being done for the victims? Also, again, what is Guterres' answer, which you refused to provide after banned Inner City Press asked you and others in writing on the morning of August 19 that you "immediately provide all if-asked and additional information about the new allegation of SEA announced of child rape by a Cameroonian "peacekeeper" in DR Congo, and why this has been left so long UNanswered - and also why previously published charges are no longer in the data to which UN Peacekeeping Conduct and Discipline points, including what if being done for these victims and any steps taken to avoid this constant repetition of abuse despite the SG's ostensible commitments. Again, are new allegations being buried elsewhere on the data page? Inner City Press is asking in writing because banned from the noon briefings and any follow up questions, now for more than a year. On August 24 Inner City Press re-applied for admission to cover the UNGA high level week; on August 30 it was summarily rejected, with no or only Kafka-esque reasoning. This week, as before none of Inner City Press' written questions, including on Honduras and Cameroon, have been answered.
