COURT, March 21 – Amid
the Coronavirus crisis strange
bedfellows are becoming more
common. Take for example John
Bolton and Ken Roth, the long
time sanctimonious head of
Human Rights Watch, whose UN
representative colluded
in the banning
of Inner City Press.
Ken
Roth wrote,
"Where would the world be
today if Chinese authorities
had heeded rather than
censored the Wuhan medical
whistleblowers who in December
tried to warn us of the
coronavirus threat. The
censorship gave the virus a
disastrous three-week head
start."
And
John Bolton wrote, more pointedly,
"China silenced coronavirus
whistleblowers, expelled
journalists, destroyed
samples, refused CDC help, and
concealed counts of deaths and
infections. It's fact there
was a massive coverup. China
is responsible. The world must
act to hold them accountable."
But beyond accountability,
because of legal immunity and
the mindless or self-selving
support of people like Ken
Roth is Antonio Guterres of
the United Nations.
Inner City Press asked why
Guterres omitted
from his public financial
disclosure the money he took
from Gulbenkian Foundation,
which tried to sell its il
company Partex to convicted UN
briber CEFC China Energy.
Guterres and his spokesman
Stephane Dujarric responding
by using UN Security
Lieutenant Ronald E Dobbins to
physically oust
Inner City Press as it
questioned Cameroon's
ambassador Tommo Monthe with
whom Guterres also had a
genocide denying deal,
and ban
it 627 days since.
HRW said nothing. Its UN
representative Louis
Charbonneau lobbied
Dujarric to throw Inner City
Press out of the UN. Both
Charbonneau and its seems Roth
express contempt for Bolton.
But Roth is saying the same
thing. Will others on Bolton's
side of the ledger, recently
in the loop, actually take
action on these issues? We'll
have more on this. Watch this
site.
