DDC COURTHOUSE,
June 5 –Tiemoko Coulibaly
worked for the U.S. State
Department as a French
instructor, but says he run
into discrimination on the
basis of his race and national
origin. He sued.
On June 4
District for the District of
Columbia Judge Rudolph
Contreras held a proceeding.
Inner City Press covered it.
The US
Attorney's Office for the
District of Columbia said it
might like to belatedly do the
trial in the action this year,
but that a members of the
trial team will be busy
through November.
Judge
Contreras asked, Didn't he
just make his notice of
appearance this week?
Yes, he replied, but he's been
working on the case.
Judge
Contreras put the case down
for a trial to begin on
December 6. Inner City Press
will follow this case, like
another discrimination case
against the State Department's
US
Mission to the UN
pending in the SDNY, which
Inner City Press closely
covers while banned from the
UN.
