FEDERAL COURT,
Feb 9– Six days after in the
US Capitol among other things
Mark Leffingwell stuck a
Capitol Police officer
repeatedly with a closed fist,
he was released to fly back to
his home in Seattle, no GPS
monitor, no bond.
For Long
Island D.J. Greg Rubenacker it
went the same way, with arrest
and release on the same day,
February, in EDNY Federal
Court before Magistrate
Judge Steven
Locke. Inner
City Press live tweeted it, here:

Rubenacker fiing on Patreon here
US cites
"Snapchat story that user GREG
RUBENACKER had posted from his
account. The witness stated
that Snapchat user RUBENACKER
had sent multiple Snapchat
videos to the witness from
inside the Capitol on Jan 6,
2021"
Judge: This is a
proceeding seeking the removal
of Mr. Rubenacker to the
District of Columbia. Did you
sign his document, Special
Agent Gallagher? Gallagher:
Yes.
Judge: There is a
complaint with two charges --
Rubenacker: Both of those are
wrong.
Judge: You
have the right to counsel
Rubenacker: OK. Judge: Excuse
me? Rubenacker: I said OK. Yes
I understand.... Trespassing?
Judge: You should speak with
your lawyer. Let's take a
break for 15 minutes.
They're
back.
Rubenacker: I'm
frustrated. Lawyer
Michael Matera: Please don't
discuss the case.
Rubenacker: I'm frustrated
with the corruption of the
government. Judge: Have you
now seen or heard about the
charges?
Rubenacker: Yes.
Can I take this mask
off? Judge: No, you have
to keep it on. You are in a
place with other people.
Judge:
State your name on the record.
Rubenacker: What did you say?
Judge: Say your
name. Rubenacker: Greg Thomas
Rubenacker. Judge: Is that
your signature? Rubenacker: I
think so.
AUSA: I
think we have an agreement on
a $50,000 unsecured bond and
special conditions recommended
by Pre-Trial Services. Judge:
Is that the agreement?
Rubenacker's
assigned counsel: Yes. Judge:
Can you hear me? Rubenacker:
I'm pinning my face [?] so I
can hear you.
So
Rubenacker is being released.
As to
Leffingwell, Inner City Press
covered the case.
U.S. District Court for the
District of Columbia
Magistrate Judge G. Michael
Harvey held the detention, or
really non-detention,
proceeding. Inner City Press
