Failed Harlem Buttocks Surgery Triggers Two Lawsuits Threatening To End Careers

By Matthew Russell Lee, Exclusive Patreon
BBC - Guardian UK - Honduras - The Source

SDNY COURTHOUSE, May 20 – A plastic surgeon in Harlem is the subject of a wage dispute - and a medical malpractice suit for infecting a patient through buttocks surgury while "not Board Certified in Plastic Surgery."

It was the wage dispute, and a deposition interruptus, that came before U.S. District Court for the South District of New York Judge Gregory H. Woods on May 20. Inner City Press covered it.

Joshua Lurie, the lawyer for Sergey Voskin and his NYC Medical Practice in both cases, was pushing for a Protective Order to Stop Harassing and Improper Conduct at Depositions by his adversary in both cases, Steven Blau.

Blau insisted that he did not wish to "end anyone's career;" Judge Woods urged both sides to think about it. Clearly, there is something explosive in the docket, or perhaps improperly withheld from it.

Inner City Press will continue on these cases. Watch this site.
