UN GATE, Jan 18 –
How useless is Antonio
Guterres as UN Secretary
General? Well, on Libya when
he met Mohammed
El-Taher
Hammuda Siala
back on
February 8,
his bogus read
out spoke of
"progress"
since the
Berlin
conference,
which he used
as an excuse
to stop over
at this real
home in Lisbon
and at which
he did not
even meet
Serraj. This
time, Inner
City Press
banned now 927 days
asked in
writing where
else he is
stopping over,
and at what
cost. No
answer from
Spokesman
Stephane
Dujarric, who
on
camera
promised
answers. Now
he blocks
Inner City
Press on
WhatsApp for his
pathetic
social club
webcasts still
often
from his
Upper East
Side penthouse
or UNexplained
house on the
Hamptons (from
there, he
turns off his
camera).
On
January 15
Inner City
Press reported
that one of
the few
credible UN
officials Jan
Kubis will be
sent to Libya
by desperate
Guterres, with no envoy
on Western
Sahara and
still banning
Inner City
Press.
Now on
January
18, streaming
from a
bedroom
with a bunk bed,
Guterres'
spokesman
Stephane
Dujarric said,
"United
Nations
Secretary-General
António
Guterres
announced
today the
appointment of
Ján Kubiš of
Slovakia as
his Special
Envoy on Libya
and Head of
the United
Nations
Support
Mission in
Libya
(UNSMIL).
This position
is established
pursuant to
Security
Council
resolution
2542
(2020).
The
Secretary-General
is grateful
for the
commitment and
outstanding
leadership of
Acting Special
Representative
Stephanie T.
Williams of
the United
States in
moving the
political
process
forward in
Libya.
Mr. Kubiš, who
has served as
Special
Coordinator
for Lebanon,
Office of the
United Nations
Special
Coordinator
for Lebanon
(UNSCOL) since
2019... Mr.
Kubiš also
served as the
European
Union’s
Special
Representative
for Central
Asia with the
office in
Brussels and
as the
Personal
Representative
of the
Chairman-in-Office
of OSCE for
Central Asia."
We'll
have more on
this.
