LITERARY SDNY,
Oct 4 – Even before
Trevor Milton's lawyer Marc
Mukasey tested positive for
COVID, his team asked Judge
Ramos to tell the jurors not
to watch "American Greed."
At that time,
closing argument would be the
same day as the episode's
premiere. Now with the one
week adjournment due to COVID,
the jurors wouldn't return
until October 11.
They could see
American Greed on October 4 -
or any of the six days
afterward.
The episode dug
back into Milton before
Nikola, including a scammed
couple named the Pilz' whose
wife worked in a check-out
line while Milton went through
it.
He sold a
security alarm company in St.
George, and started dHybrid.
He took more than a dozen
people, some of whom he didn't
know, to Hawaii where they
ditched him.
Damningly,
he told his friend to sell
their stock. Why had his not
come in during the trial? Why
had investor Danny Jimenez not
been one of those called as
witnesses? More on Patreon here.
