FEDERAL
RESERVE / SNDY -- The
United Arab Emirates, as president of
the UN Security Council, was a
stonewalling censor but did not directly
lie like the UN Spokespeople. The past
Friday Kurt had gotten a leaked email
from inside the UN, staff ordered to
mimic Guterres' circumlocutions about
the slaughter in Ukraine. He'd published
in and on Monday emailed Stephane
Dujarric and Melissa Fleming for
comment. Nothing.
Now
the Irish Times published, and
Dujarric took to lying. At first he or
Melissa Fleming, with her taxpayer
funded propaganda machine called
Verify, labeled it "fake" - then
deleted it. Now in the noon briefing
Kurt was banned from Dujarric lied to
sleepy correspondents. Some
immediately leapt to his defense
online, saying the only ones who could
question the UN's performance were
right wingers.
The
League of Nations, too, had surely had
such useful idiots. But was there so
much wider disinterest?
Ukraine
also came up, raised to Kurt, to the
Federal Reserve's public meeting on
Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group and US
Bank. It was run, as it happened, by
the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis.
Kurt got his WebEx to work at the last
minute, and launched into it. Would
other community groups care? Some just
praised the banks. But others hit
hard. It was a hardier crew than the
US press corpse.
There was an echo of Ghislaine
Maxwell, and the beginnings of US v.
Larry Ray. But behind it all, blasting
away, there was the war on Ukraine.
Whatever Fat Tony and his coterie
called it. #TheWeaselsOfWallStreet.
Kurt had first heard
of Jho Low while still in
the UN, before he was thrown
out. Jho Low appeared at a
UN press conference in front
of the ubiquitous and now
defiled logo.
