SDNY COURTHOUSE,
May 2 – It was a huge
construction project, too
large - perfect for stealing
money from.
Antonio Guterres
stood in a hardhat surveying
it. Just has the architect of
the Senegal Mission to the UN
in New York was having to sue
Fode Seck for millions stolen
from that project, imagine how
much could be stolen from this
"UNO House." Big Tony didn't
have to imagine.
Kurt
Wheelock had covered the
Senegal corruption case in New
York, and been denounced on
Senxibar for it. Guterres
still had him banned from any
entry to the UN, trying to
keep that money flowing. But
here at Diamniadio it was all
on display.
And the UN
Department of Global
Communication under Melissa
Fleming, who kept Kurt banned
and refused even to answer a
letter from a pro bono law
firm about it, shamelessly
pumped out video of Big Tony
in his hard hat.
It was like
footage from the corruption
construction of Las Vegas. But
who would play Bugsie Siegel?
And how in
Nigeria, which Guterres had
called a uniformily Muslim
country, would he avoid the
issue of the Anglophones and
IPOB? By censorship, of
course. And the lack of energy
and even curiousity of the
press corpse which covered the
UN. Kurt did what he could,
doubling down while covering
the courts.
