LITERARY
UN GATE, April 23 -- This
genocide was a perfect opportunity for
a vacation to Lisbon, Big Tony
Guterres decided.
So what if the Russians
wouldn't confirm that he's get any
face time to Putin? He'd have this
third-string spokesperson Eri
Kaneko, hired to pay back Japan for
continuing to pour money into the UN
despite being frozen out of the
Security Council, tell that moldy
press corpse that he would be
*received* by Putin. Hell, maybe
that would poisoning by Polonium
less likely.
And Tony could stop in Lisbon
along the way, and before his second
leg to Kiev, and again before
returning to New York. So what if
Catalina didn't want to see him? The
bankers always greeted him, now flush
with yuan as he was. The gratuities,
he'd let the global taxpayers pay. He
congratulated himself. Big Tony had
really turned this genocide around and
to his favor.
Dujarric,
too, was happy. On the
Thursday he'd teased the trip, but
misleadingly said it might be to
Nigeria, in a colloquy arranged with
his Qatar funded counterpart. Now he
could take Friday off, out to the
Hampton, and let Eri took the heat.
If the blogger trashed her - and he
would - he could rail against it as
sexist and claim he always protected
his people even as he threw them to
the wolves.
Dujarric had covered up the
Sri Lanka genocide for Ban Ki-moon.
Now he was covering up Ukraine for
Guterres, only with more
sophistication, and this time with
all critics banned from the
building. Was this how Peskov felt?
Did he live in Russia's equivalent
of the Hampton?
Melissa Fleming had been
taking a more active hand in
covering up the genocide, having her
Department send orders to 25
officials to not call it a war or
invasion. But now just as things got
good, and her Big Boss Big Tony
played three dimensional chess, she
was laid up wit COVID.
Maybe she could turn even
this to her advantage... Write a
piece about it on Medium, how
concerns she was about passing it on
to her husband and son. What did
they do anyway?
Kurt
Wheelock, railing in front of Big
Tony's empty mansion, was watching.
