LITERARY EDNY,
Sept 28 – When the Tom Barrack
trial resumed after five days
off for the Jewish holidays,
the audio in the overflow
courtroom was
broken.
So Kurt
went up to Judge Cogan's
courtroom on the 8th floor.
Barrack behind his lawyers,
not talking to them, as they
questioning the government's
interpreter or linguist, and
another agent about cell phone
photo meta-data.

Kurt
studied the 12 jurors and
three alternates, and the
people sitting in the gallery.
Like most trials, it was a
complete ecosystem. But where
were the people replying to
him on Twitter that the UAE
was innocent, that the jury
was being shown no proof?
Meanwhile,
Inner City Press was told that
unlike for US v. Roger Ng /
Jho Low, its application to
bring in electronics like
other media was denied,
pending a third letter to
District Executive Eugene J.
Corcoran. What were the rules
or standards? Where was the
due process? More on Patreon here.
