UN GATE, Jan 6 –
Who is the UN Security Council
President for January?
Norway, which has refused to
answer Inner City Press'
questions about its Ambassador
Mona Juul's connections to
indicted pedophile Jeffrey
Epstein and now convicted
procurer Ghislaine Maxwell.
Inner City Press asked since
December for access to
Norway's January 4 press
conference taking over from
Niger. After days, nothing.
On January
4, Inner City Press sent
additional written questions,
on South Sudan and UN rapes
and censorship, directly to
Mona Juul's listed email
address. Two days later, even
as Juul pretended that a
former UN ambassador was, in
fact, an NGO and bragged about
women, peace and security,
still no answer to this:
"To: Mona.Juul
[at] mfa.no
I wanted to be sure you
received this, personally, and
not only your Mission since
last month. Please note that
UN USG Fleming has been
written to, requesting a
dialogue to end the UN's ban
on Inner City Press, which
covers issues on the UNSC's
agenda such as Haiti and
Yemen, and also Cameroon and
Nigeria like Sri
Lanka. Nothing has
been done and now it is on
you, including in light of
this Dec 30, 2021 UNAT
decision on the lack of due
process of such a ban, here.
Please confirm receipt,
and separately act, and state
your action. Thank you in
advance."
More than
a dozen real NGOs were left
out while a former UN
ambassador was given the floor
as an NGO. They were told to
ask the Norway Mission. Inner
City Press in December wrote
to the Norway mission and
still no answers, on Cameroon
or Haiti much less Nigeria, no
response. In the UN "hybrid"
briefing on January 4 - for
which Norway would not even
provide the WebEx code, as the
IMF does for Inner City Press
- revolving door UN PGA
staffer Meena Syed was there,
with Astrid Sehl taking the
lame questions, several of
them repeats. Watch this site.
Back on December
30 Inner City Press wrote to
the NorwayMission to the UN to
request access to its January
4 press conference by
Ambassador Mona "Epstein"
Juul.
Inner City
Press wrote to the Mission
including ragnhild.simenstad
[at] mfa.no, asking: "This is
a timely request that you send
Inner City Press the pass
code(s) to access Norway's
Mission's UNSC Presidency
press briefing by Ambassador
Mona Juul, on Jan 4 and
throughout January. I have
questions to ask on what you
will do this month about the
conflicts in Afghanistan,
Sudan, Myanmar, Cameroon,
Haiti, Nigeria, Yemen and
Libya - and on the UN/SG's and
Norway's / the Ambassadors
links with indicted sex
traffickers Jeffrey Epstein
(now deceased) and Ghislaine
Maxwell, convicted yesterday
at the SDNY court I now report
from, and the sexual
harassment charges against
Fabrizio Hochschild on which
Inner City Press first
reported in April 2019, for
example. (Likewise we
exclusively published from UN
whistleblowers UNAMA emails,
and information about the
positive COVID test in the
UN's FF building and
since). Inner City
Press is asking to be provided
with access / the passwords to
your Norway Mission's
stakeouts and press
conferences this month as UNSC
President - including on
issues of UN(SC) compliance
with NYC COVID-19 rules. As
president of the UNSC you have
duty to respond to media of
and in the host
city.
As I hear that you may be
moving the Council more and
more fully back into its
Chamber, either way I would
also like to ask you to
instruct MALU / USG-DGC
Fleming to allow me to enter
to cover it, for Inner City
Press. I
should be allowed to put
question to the Norway Mission
as UNSC President - this is a
formal request that you take
steps to allow and not block
on, by the morning of December
31. Be
aware that I for Inner City
Press am invited to ask
questions by the IMF at its
briefings (see, e.g.,

Guinea, Ukraine (Bitcoin, El

and on El Salvador here

Cameroon, see still UNanswered

Given who
else you'll be letting in,
there is no basis not to
immediately give Inner City
Press the WebEx codes.
Please immediately confirm
receipt, and provide the
passcode or state why not.
Three days later,
nothing - inconsistent, to say
the least, with Norway's duty
as President of the UN
Security Council.
Their
"program of work" has NOTHING
on Cameroon or Nigeria, but
small arms and exclusion. No
Burma, no Haiti. We will
be covering this month,
censored or not, in detail.
Inner City Press
covered the UN and UNSC under
Kofi Annan and Ban Ki-moon
then was thrown out under
Antonio Guterres after asking
him directly about [among
other things including
Cameroon,] the omission
from his financial disclosure
covering 2016 of his link,
through Lisbon's Gulbenkian
Foundation which paid him
money, to convicted UN briber
CEFC China Energy.
This was and is a
legitimate journalistic
question however Inner City
Press has been banned by
Guterres and his USG Melissa
Fleming.
There is no
commitment by the UN
Secretariat to even respond to
a polite law firm letter
seeking access to Inner City
Press, see video.

Independent (UK)
The Norwegian
Mission and Norway have a duty
to not collude in censorship,
and to take questions from
media. Inner City Press is
permitted (in fact, invited)
to put WebEx questions to the
IMF briefings, see below, and
is accredited at the SDNY
Federal court here in New
York.
So it is up to
Norway and the Norway Mission
to provide access.
