SDNY / UN GATE,
June 12 – Countries celebrated
in New York by the UN and its
Secretary General Antonio
Guterres continue to be
charged with breaking US laws.
Guterres-linked China targets
its critics in the US. UNFCU
assists Iran and, it seems, Peru.
The UAE paid Tom Barrack to
illegal lobby, it is charged
in EDNY. Now this, on
Guterres' favorite, Qatar:
Retired
Gen. John
Allen has now
resigned as the
president of the Brookings
Institution amid an expanding
federal investigation into his
lobbying for
Qatar. Citing a
“heavy heart” Allen wrote, "I
know it is best for all
concerned in this moment." The
FBI has seized Allen’s
electronic data as part of the
lobbying probe. Allen’s
lobbying work involved
traveling to Qatar and meeting
with the country’s top
officials to offer them advice
on how to influence U.S.
policy, as well as promoting
Qatar’s point of view to top
White House officials and
members of Congress, the FBI’s
affidavit says. The
federal investigation
involving Allen has already
ensnared Richard G. Olson, a
former ambassador to the
United Arab Emirates and
Pakistan who pleaded guilty to
federal charges earlier this
month, and Imaad Zuberi, a
prolific political donor now
serving a 12-year prison
sentence on corruption
charges. Several members of
Congress have also been
interviewed.
Which
ones? And what about the UN
under Guterres, which has
facilitated illegal lobbying
by the UAE, UNFCU payments to
Iranian spies, and outright
murder plots by China? Watch
this site.
