SDNY COURTHOUSE,
May 25 – The SEC sued Steven
M. Gallagher a/k/a "Alexander
Delarge 655321" for using his
Twitter platform to promote
and encourage the purchase of
dozens of specific microcap
stocks while himself selling
and not disclosing that fact -
that is, scalping.
On May 25, U.S.
District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge P. Kevin Castel held a
conference. Inner City Press
covered it.
Judge
Castel let the SEC know they
must show more than just the
tweets. But when Gallagher
complained about the SEC
amending its complaint, Judge
Castel said this defendant had
not right to complain. And so
the amendment is due by June
29.
The case
is Securities and
Exchange Commission v.
Gallagher, 21-cv-8739
(Castel)
