SDNY COURTHOUSE,
April 20 – Noe Villa Rios is
in jail based on a law
enforcement stop in Missouri
yielding 12 kilograms of
cocaine.
On April 20, 2021, U.S.
District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge John G. Koeltl held a
bond proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
The US
Attorney's Office's detention
filing cites a "steal
narcotics press," in a Stash
House the defendant was living
in.
The defense
attorney, arguing for release,
emphasized that the Stash
House had common areas.
Judge Koeltl
denied release; the defendant
will remain detained pending
trial.
The case is US v.
Beltre, 21-cr-155 (Koeltl)
