SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Jan 26 – Glen Myers was
charged with bank fraud and
identity theft. Then while out
on bond, he was
arrested.
On
January 26, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Lewis J. Liman held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
The AUSA
chided Myers' lawyer for
having sought a loosening of
conditions of release without
conference with Pre-Trial
Services.
In fact,
"especially in light of Myers'
arrest over the past weekend,"
a request was made for
tightened conditions.
Judge
Liman ruled that Myers should
be subject to 24 home
confinement and not permitted
to leave home for work, in
Mount Vernon or anywhere else.
The case is USA
v. Lyons, 20-cr-152 (Liman)
