SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Jan 17 – Shanghai Shuoxin
International Co., Ltd sued
Jordache Enterprises Inc. for
refusing to pay for its
purchase
orders.
On January 14, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Valerie E. Caproni held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
The apparel
at issue is branded Land's
End. But the timing of
shipments became a problem, in
November 2020.
Jordache, based
in New York, wanted
"sweatpants samples for a
photo-shoot" - then later
cancelled the order. The
plaintiff sued, demanding a
jury trial.
On January
14 Judge Caproni said fact
discovery is to be concluded
by September 30, with another
conference on that date.
The case is
Shanghai Shuoxin International
Co.,Ltd v. Jordache
Enterprises Inc., 21-cv-5825
(Caproni)
