SDNY COURTHOUSE,
May 24 – A work-place injury
at 527 West 27th Street in
Manhattan led to a lawsuit
between insurance companies,
State National Insurance
Company versus State Farm Fire
and Casualty
Company.
On
May 24, U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York Judge Jed S. Rakoff
held a proceeding. Inner City
Press covered
it.
The parties
told Judge Rakoff they were
settling the case.
He asked,
Including costs? Yes, was the
answer.
Great, he said,
I'll enter a 30-day order. And
he did.
The case is State
National Insurance Company et
al v. State Farm Fire and
Casualty Company, 21-cv-2634
(Rakoff)
