SDNY COURTHOUSE,
April 21 – Legally blind
Christian Sanchez sued Holden
Outerwear for having an
inaccessible website. Then the
defendant did not show
up.
On April 21, 2021, U.S.
District Court for the
Southern District of New
York Judge John G.
Koeltl held a proceeding.
Inner City Press covered
it.
With the
defendant not present, no much
could be accomplished.
The
plaintiff's lawyer said he has
had good experience with
defense counsel in the past
and he thinks the case might
settle.
He could
not, of course, consent to
trial before a Magistrate
Judge.
The case is
Sanchez v. Holden Outerwear
Inc., 21-cv-548 (Koeltl)
