SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Feb 9 – Joaquin Linares sued
the Tudor City Steakhouse for
not paying overtime. But the
restaurant is nearly
closed.
On
February 9, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York
Judge Lewis J. Liman held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
The restaurant's
lawyer called his client a
high end steakhouse which does
little to no business under
the COVID restrictions.
If it does
not reopen this Spring or
Summer, he said, the business
will not survive. Fact
discovery has been extended to
January 29.
The case is
Linares et al v. Lekic et al.,
20-cv-1408 (Liman)
