SDNY COURTHOUSE,
April 26 – William Heady sued
his employer, Metro-North
Commuter Railroad Company,
after slipping on debris in
their shop in White Plains and
injuring his
back.
On April 26, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
John G. Koeltl held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Judge
Koeltl opined this is the kind
of case which will require
some discovery before any
settlement discussions.
The complaint is
replete with medical details,
form lumbar microdisectomy to
"burning pain from his buttock
to his foot."
The case is Heady
v. Metro-North Commuter
Railroad Company, 21-cv-794
(Koeltl)
