SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Nov 3 – Denise Crumwell is a
blind person who has sued 7CS
Fashion House for having an
inaccessible
website.
On November 3 U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Edgardo Ramos held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
The
defendant said their website
is already fixed. The
plaintiff disagreed, and said
that no motion to dismiss
should be allowed due to the
disputes of fact.
Judge
Ramos asked why not amend the
complaint to address what was
in the pre-motion letter. The
plaintiff's lawyer agreed, and
has 30 days to amend.
The case is
Crumwell v. 7CS Fashion House,
LLC, 21-cv-7815 (Ramos)
