SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Jan 23 – SUNY Purchase was
sued by a John Doe for what
Doe called the "erroneous
adjudication of a complaint of
sexual misconduct."
On January
21, U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York Judge Valerie E. Caproni
held a proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
SUNY
wants to move to dismiss;
Doe's lawyer emphasized that
Doe had immediately filed a
NYS Article 78.
Judge
Caproni ruled that discovery
is stayed pending SUNY's
motion to dismiss, due
February 2.
The case is Doe
v. State University of New
York Purchase College,
21-cv-8417 (Caproni)
