SDNY COURTHOUSE,
July 16 – Riverkeeper sued
Pascap, which owns a scrap
metal processing facility by
the Hutchinson River in The
Bronx.
On July 14,
2022 U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York Judge Denise L. Cote held
a proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Counsel
for the defendant quickly
disclosed he is the judge's
neighbor. She recognized the
name of his wife, as a former
classmate.
It's a small
world, and the two counsel
resisted setting a trial date,
saying they anticipate
settling.
