SDNY COURTHOUSE,
May 8 – Two artists sued
General Motors for using their
mural in advertisement
campaigns.
On May 7, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Katherine Polk Failla held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Now the
artists want to transfer the
case to Arizona.
Judge Failla gave
GM May 21 to submit a letter
addressing its position on
transfer and if it still
intends to file a motion to
dismiss for lack of
jurisdiction.
The case is
Caraveo et al v. General
Motors LLC, 21-cv-1009
(Failla)
