SDNY COURTHOUSE,
May 10 – Charter Communication
is seeking to block a
discrimination lawsuit by
employee Karin Garfin, citing
her agreement to arbitrate.
On May 10,
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Katherine Polk Failla
held a proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
There has
nearly been an agreement to a
JAMS arbitration, but no deal
on whether it would be
pursuant to the "Solution
Channel Agreement."
Charter insists
that "the Court found that Ms.
Garfin is bound by both the
arbitration agreements with
Charter."
The case is
Charter Communications, Inc.
v. Garfin, 20-cv-7049 (Failla)
