SDNY COURTHOUSE,
March 28 – Sepehr Sarshar has
been charged with securities
fraud for, while with Auspex,
leaking information to
relatives about Teva's tender
offer to take over the
company.
On March 26, U.S.
District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Gregory H. Woods held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
After the
defendant pleaded not guilty,
talk turned to when Brady
information will be turned
over.
The defense asked
for it within five weeks of
the indictment, citing even
shorter time frames in the DC
District and the District of
Connecticut. The
AUSA said those time frame are
not required here.
For now, Judge
Woods ordered that the
Government must produce
discovery two weeks after
receiving a hard drive from
the defense.
The case is
US v. Sarshar, 21-cr-202
(Woods)
