SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Nov 23 – Cointreau sued Canopy
Growth USA use using a
confusingly similar mark
(Quatreau) for its CDB-infused
intoxicating
beverage.
On November 23, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Edwardo Ramos held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
"CBD
cocktails are a things, as the
23 year olds would say," Judge
Ramos was told.
He gave Cointreau
the right to file a motion to
strike some affirmative
defenses, by December 14.
The case is
Cointreau Corporation et al v.
Canopy Growth USA, LLC et al.,
21-cv-5921 (Ramos)
