SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Sept 13 –
New York-based pharmaceutical
company Chartwell RX, LLC sued
NC-based "reverse distributor"
Inmar, Inc. for mis-charging
it $450,000.
On
September 2, 2022, U.S.
District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge P. Kevin Castel held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Judge
Castel set a mediation session
for October 20, and a case
management conference before
him for February 24,
2023.
On September 9,
Inmar submitted a letter
reaffirming that it is seeking
sanctions, and arguing that
its request is consistent with
Lawrence v. Richman Grp of CT
LCC, 620 F.3d 153 (2d Cir.
2010) and denying that its
pursuit of Rule 11 sanctions
that an attempt to "threaten
and bully Chartwell into
dismissing its lawsuit."
The case is
Chartwell RX, LLC v. Inmar,
Inc., 21-cv-2185 (Castel)
