SDNY COURTHOUSE,
July 13 – Anastasia Sanchez
sued 200 Candy Corp / Edible
Arrangements for not paying
overtime. Then she sought to
settle the case.
On July 12,
2022 U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York Judge John P. Cronan held
a fairness proceeding. Inner
City Press covered it.
Judge Cronan had
notice a discrepancy between
the parties' requests and
their settlement agreement's
Paragraph 8.
Once that was
resolved, in favor of the
Settlement Agreement's terms,
he agreed to accept the
settlement and dismiss the
case with prejudice.
It is, or was,
Sanchez v. Baqar Shah,
21-cv-2335 (Cronan)
