SDNY COURTHOUSE,
July 1 – Ice Starr a/k/a Arni
Larusson has sued Yung Bleu
a/k/a Jeremy Biddle, for using
11 of his songs without
authorization.
On July 1, U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York Judge Jed S. Rakoff
held a proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
The
complaint says Larusson put
his music on Beatstars where
it could be licensed - but
they just took it, for example
for the song Miss
It.
Judge Rakoff
offered admonishment about how
the suit was served, and set
another proceeding for July
15.
The case is
Larusson v. Biddle et al.,
21-cv-4895 (Rakoff)
