SDNY COURTHOUSE,
March 31 –
Jose Miguel Tun sued Signature
Audio Design for not paying
overtime and other violations
for the Fair Labor Standards
Act.
On March 30, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York
Magistrate Judge James L. Cott
held a proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
The defense
said they planned to move to
dismiss Causes of Action 5 and
6, including about deductions.
Instead, the plaintiffs will
file an amended complaint by
April 1.
The issue may end
up before the assigned
District Judge Paul G.
Gardephe.
The case is Tun
et al v. Signature Audio
Design, LLC et al., 22-cv-677
(Gardephe / Cott).
