SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Oct 20 – Ursula Wing was
sentenced to 24 months of
probation - and is now accused
of violating the terms, to
whit, smoking pot.
On October
20, U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York Judge George B. Daniels
to whom Wing's case has been
assigned held a proceeding.
Inner City Press covered it.
The government was pushing for
a drug treatment condition.
But Judge
Daniels rejected that. Instead
he ordered that a drug test be
performed in 48 hours.
If
positive, then treatment to be
required. If negative, no more
testing.
The case is US v.
Wing, 20-cr-454 (Daniels)
