SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Oct 22 – The owner of
the copyright to Heigh-Ho and
Whistle While You Work sued
Sheet Music Now then moved to
settle the case. Almost.
On
October 22 U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York Magistrate Judge Ona
T. Wang held a proceeding.
Inner City Press covered
it.
The
parties apologized for being
back. They had jointly written
and adjourned for two weeks
the previous October 7
conference, stating that "that
are very close to an agreement
in principle to settle the
action."
But two
weeks later it wasn't yet
done. Whistle While You Work,
indeed.
The case is
Berrocal v. Sheet Music Now,
Inc., 19-cv-5123 (Carter /
Wang)
