SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Dec 4 – Stephen Lockett sued
Bar Hugo at 523 Greenwich
Street for refusing him
service due to
race.
On December 3, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Ronnie Abrams held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Lockett
says he had a reservation
accepted for table at Bar Hugo
but that once he got there he
got refused, he says, due to
his race.
Judge
Abrams said depositions should
be completed by April 4; there
will be a post-discovery
conference on April 15.
The case is
Lockett v. Hotel Hugo et al.,
21-cv-7131 (Abrams)
