SDNY COURTHOUSE,
August 19 – Richard Gonzalez,
charged in a racketeering
conspiracy, was sentenced to
time served in 2015, with the
docket replete with sealed
documents.
On August 19,
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Paul A. Engelmayer held
what was billed a violation of
supervised release proceeding.
Inner City Press covered
it.
In fact, it
was a good news session.
Judge Engelmayer,
after first inquiring into
something he found missing in
the docket - understandable,
he said, given the history of
this case - then turned to
family and romance, and work
in a doughnut shop.
He terminated
Gonzalez' supervised release
and wished him well.
The case is US v.
Gonzalez, 11-cr-1032
(Engelmayer)
