Sean Koh sued
Bonwoong
(Brian) Koo to
get paid for
work he did to
"bring Korean
film, music
and other
entertainment
services into
the US," among
other things.
On
November 22,
2022, U.S.
District Court
for the
Southern
District of
New York Judge
Jesse M.
Furman held a
proceeding.
Inner City
Press covered

The complaint
also describes
the disputed
work as
involving "the
globalization
of Korean
beauty
products,
including K
Beauty."
After
promissory
estoppel and
quantum meruit
were bandied
about, Judge
Furman ordered
that
plaintiffs are
to file any
Amended
Complaint in
two weeks,
with answer or
motion to
dismiss after
that.
