SDNY COURTHOUSE,
April 27 – Angela Kyle sued
Gyro and Dentsu Aegis Network,
global advertising agencies,
for discriminating against her
due to caregiving
responsibilities, under New
York law. But it is in Federal
court.
On April 27, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York Judge
Gregory H. Woods held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Gyro, according
to the complaint, holds itself
out as a company not dependent
on where their employees are
. But when Kyle
had to take care of her
mother, she was harassed and
retaliated against.
Judge Woods
acknowledged he wants to learn
more about the New York law.
He will.
The case is Kyle
v. Gyro et al., 21-cv-1538
(Woods)
