SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Sept 14 – A man in a
wheelchair, Jose Mario Perez,
Jr. filed an ADA lawsuit
against Due Milla Realty Group
LLC for lack of access to
Mighty Quinn's Barbecue at 103
Second
Avenue.
On
September 14, 2022, U.S.
District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge John P. Cronan held a
status conference that he had
convened. Inner City Press
covered it.
It emerged
that beyond the ADA issues,
there are Landmarks
Preservation Commission
issues. Judge Cronan asked
that they be inquired into,
but for now issued a sine die
adjournment.
The case is
Perez, Jr. v. Due Milla Realty
Group LLC et al., 19-cv-5794
(Cronan)
