SDNY COURTHOUSE,
May 5 – Lamda Solutions Corp.
counted on HSBC Bank in
connection with brokering a
iron ore deal between China
and Mexico. HSBC reneged, and
Lamda sued.
On May 5,
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Gregory H. Woods held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
Judge Woods
asked where in the complaint
the breach of contract was to
be found.
The plaintiff's
lawyer pointed to Paragraph
10, that HSBC "confirmed its
interest in proceeding with
the transaction." HSBC's
Yonkers branch is cited.
The case is Lamda
Solutions Corp. v. HSBC Bank
USA, N.A., 21-cv-2259 (Woods)
