SDNY COURTHOUSE,
May 18 – Peter Rodriguez is
detained on Riker's Island and
is pursuing a case against the
City of New York for being
impacted by chemical agents
while in Manhattan Detention.
On May 19, U.S.
District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge John G. Koeltl held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
It took
some time to start up, as has
happened twice in this case.
The City's lawyer said one of
those times was the
plaintiff's fault.
But when
the plaintiff got on, he
talked fast.
He has a number
of other cases pending against
the City.
This one is
Rodriguez v. Cohall et al.,
21-cv-1810 (Koeltl)
