SDNY COURTHOUSE,
May 26 – Adam Potter bought
Business Insurance Holdings,
which holds insurance events
in the Ziegfeld Ballroom and
Grand Hyatt, New York. There
followed two
lawsuits.
On May 26,
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge John G. Koeltl held a
proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
Judge
Koeltl expressed sadness at
the acrimony between counsel,
including a Rule 11 motion
that he denied.
He took a five
minute break then read out an
oral decision, denying motions
to dismiss parts of the
complaint. Counsel in his next
case were on the line,
listening.
This case is
Potter v. Beacon
Intercontinental Group, Inc.,
20-cv-4599 (Koeltl)
