SDNY COURTHOUSE,
August 1 – Mohammad M. Haque
paid off his loans to the
Department of Education, but
Experian and Trans Union would
not reflect it in their
records. He sued.
On July 30, U.S.
District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Katherine Polk Failla
held a proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
Judge Failla inquired, then
called it not your typical
Fair Credit Reporting Act
lawsuit.
In the case
management plan, fact
discovery is to be completed
by December 27.
The case is Haque
v. Trans Union LLC et al.,
21-cv-4950 (Failla)
