SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Sept 22 – BNP Paribas is
suing Kurt Orban Partners LLP
for non-payment for steel
alloy bars.
On
September 22, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York
Magistrate Judge Sarah L. Cave
held a proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
The
defendant wants a jury trial,
which may take a while.
Deadlines were pushed off to
February 3 for the next
conference, and to March 17 to
write to District Judge Andrew
L. Carter in anticipation of a
summary judgment motion.
A motion to
dismiss for lack of
jurisdiction has already
failed.
The case is BNP
Paribas v. Kurt Orban Partners
LLC et al., 19-cv-9616 (Carter
/ Cave)
