April 11 –
Bernhard Kuhmstedt sued Mubi
for infringing on his
copyrighted photographs of
Austrian-American actor August
Zirner.
His work has also
featured, the Complaint says,
Christina Aguilera, Justin
Timberlake and the Red Hot
Chili
Peppers.
On April 11, U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York
Magistrate Judge James L. Cott
held a proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
Judge Cott inquired in the
case under the DMCA, then set
a settlement conference for
June 6, by Zoom.
