SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Nov 27 – In 1967 the US
Department of Justice entered
into a "perpetual" antitrust
injunction against Sabrett
Food Products Corporation and
unions against them "agreeing
to fix prices for the sale and
distribution of any meat
products."
On November
24, the US Attorney's Office
filed a lawsuit now assigned
to U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
George B. Daniels to Terminate
A Legacy Antitrust Judgment.
It says Marathon
Enterprises as a successor of
Sabbrett's consents to
it.
The case is US v.
Sabrett Food Production
Corporation, et al., 20-me-511
(Daniels)
