SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Aug 19 – Brain La Belle
was head of Barclays'
commercial real estate trading
and "witnessed a culture in
which basic risk management
and risk controls were
flagrantly disregarded." Then
he was fired.
On
August 19, U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York Chief Magistrate
Judge Gabriel W. Gorenstein
held a discovery proceeding.
Inner City Press covered it.
Judge
Gorenstein ruled among other
things that other complaints
of retaliation must be
produced.
One of the
lawyers asked, will this be in
an order?
Judge Gorenstein
said he will issue a minute
entry referencing the
transcript in which this would
be stated. But how much does
the transcript cost?
The case is La
Belle v. Barclays Capital
Inc., 19-cv-3800 (Oetken /
Gorenstein)
