SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Oct 4 – UA Local 13 sued
Sealed Air Corporation, in
which it invested, for
securities fraud.
On October
4 U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Louis S. Stanton held an
in-person proceeding. Inner
City Press went and covered
it.
Judge
Stanton suggested the class
certification should be
addressed well before the end
of fact discovery on June 30,
2022. The parties agreed.
Judge
Stanton set a next conference
for July 8 - he was willing to
further delay it if counsel
were taking the week off for
July 4, but they weren't - and
he said his goal was to try to
avoid unneccesary expenses in
connection with experts.
