SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Dec 1 – Northwell Health
has sued Illinois Union
Insurance Company for not
paying on its policy to cover
expenses incurred during the
COVID-19 pandemic.
On December
1, U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Magistrate Judge Ona T. Wang
held a proceeding. Inner City
Press covered it.
Judge Wang said
she had ready about
Northwell's response to COVID,
and asked if the funds sought
were for retooling facilities.
Yes, that and
other things.
And it might run
to eight figures, it was said.
The case is
Northwell Health, Inc. v.
Illinois Union Insurance
Company, 20-cv-6893 (Swain /
Wang)
